Lufeng Zou (Lu) was born and raised in China. He has been living in the states since 2007. Coach Lu is a passionate running coach who enjoys all aspects of helping runners achieve their goals. He enjoys educating runners about different types of runs and does a great job explaining how and WHY specific runs are important to the training cycle. Coach Lu believes that you can do anything you set your mind to. He also loves to cheer on runners whether he is pacing various marathons or cheering from afar.
Lu is a certified as a run coach through VDOT by Jack Daniels, ACE certified personal trainer and recently, fitness nutrition specialist.

My experience with Spark Healthy Running was great! Through individual coaching, Coach Lu really helped provide structure to my half marathon training plan, and helped to provide encouragement and support, particularly when I experienced a few setbacks and minor injuries during my training.
